Life is a journey
“Let the beauty of what you love be what you do.”
About Me
Hi, I’m Sonnet Grant, and nothing brings me more joy than seeing others shine. I’ve always felt deeply connected to people, which makes helping others—whether in life or business—feel like second nature to me. My passion lies in simplifying lives, amplifying joy, and helping others find clarity and focus. I believe that when our surroundings align with our values, we feel lighter, more present, and are able to thrive.
From Challenges to Clarity
My journey hasn’t been without its challenges. In my 30s, I faced a time of personal tragedy that forced me to manage two estates at the same time. One of the most vivid memories I have is standing in a garage so cluttered that everyone I asked for help became overwhelmed and walked away. Left to tackle it almost entirely on my own, I learned firsthand how transformative it can be to sort through life’s chaos one step at a time.
That experience and many others taught me the power of simplifying and decluttering, not just as a task but as a way of living with intention. It was also the beginning of a deeper understanding of how our external spaces impact and reflect our internal lives. I realized how valuable it is to have support during life’s transitions and how much lighter life feels when we align our spaces with what truly matters. That time in my life planted the seed for what would later become my organizing business. I knew I wanted to provide others with the support I wish I’d had.
In 2014, I left my corporate career as a real estate business coach and sales trainer to follow my heart. For several years, I worked in the fitness industry, blending movement with transformative coaching to support people in living their healthiest lives. Then, in 2018, I made a major move from Hawaii—where I had lived for 16 years—back to my roots in Colorado. With that transition, I felt inspired to officially launch my organizing business, combining my many skills with my passion for intentional living. Since then, I’ve dedicated myself to helping others create spaces that reflect their values, simplify their lives, and support their goals.
What I Do
At its core, my work is about more than just tidying up; it’s about helping you create a life that feels aligned and intentional. Whether it’s decluttering your home, organizing your business, or managing a life transition, I’m here with you every step of the way. My process is rooted in showing up without any judgement, asking the right questions, listening deeply, and tailoring solutions to your unique needs.
Some of my favorite projects include:
Decluttering and creating intentional spaces that reflect your values and bring peace; I have a special love for kitchens!
Prepping homes for sale and simplifying the moving process.
Unpacking and organizing new spaces so they feel like a home sanctuary from day one.
Supporting clients through major life transitions with care and compassion.
I’ve also moved many times in my own life, both locally and across the country (my newest move being from CO to NC!), so I understand the physical and emotional energy that goes into relocating. Helping clients feel settled and at peace in their new space is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do.
My Approach
Organizing isn’t just about stuff; it’s about aligning your environment with your life. Whether you’re tackling clutter, creating systems for your business, or reimagining how you use your space, my focus is always on helping you:
Clarify what’s most important to you.
Simplify your surroundings to reduce stress.
Build a foundation that supports the life you want to live.
This doesn’t mean I’ll ask you to throw everything away (unless that’s your goal!). Instead, I’ll help you curate and organize your space so that it serves your needs and reflects your values—whether that means artfully storing your treasures or letting go of what no longer serves you.
What Drives Me
My dad’s words have always stuck with me: “Organizing is a great fit for you as a business. As a little kid, your drawers were always tidy. One time I attempted to move an item you had stashed away. You grabbed my arm and said, “This stays.” You organized events and brought people together. You were a great person to have around when other people were losing their wits.”
From a young age, I’ve had a natural knack for creating order out of chaos and have done many jobs that put these skills to use. Combine that with my life experiences, and I’ve developed a superpower for dealing with “stuff” and helping others find clarity, structure, and peace. I thrive in complex situations with lots of moving parts. I am not afraid of doing hard things, and I always aim to provide the highest level of care and attention to my clients.
At the heart of my work is a deep belief that freedom is our true state of being and that all humans are capable and powerful creators.
Why Swell?
The name “Swell” reflects my lifelong love of the ocean and its powerful metaphor for life. The waves we ride, the vast unknown, and the beauty of flowing with life rather than forcing it—these are all lessons I take to heart.
Swell also speaks to my approach: I believe in amplifying the best parts of life and creating a flow that supports your unique vision. Whether it’s finding calm in the chaos or bringing creativity to the process, I’m here to help you ride the waves of life with ease and confidence.
Let’s face it, life is swell when your space is organized!
Let’s Work Together
Life today can feel complex, cluttered, heavy, and overwhelming. My goal is to help you cut through the noise and create a life that feels intentional, peaceful, and aligned with your values. Whether you’re tackling a big move, project or estate, navigating a transition, or simply looking to declutter and reset, I’m here to help you create a space—and a life—where you can truly shine!
In my free time
I love trying new things, biking, hiking, fishing, yoga, cross-training and adventuring. I also enjoy travel, quality time with friends & family, anything at the beach, reading, snuggling with animals, eating out, laughing, movies, music and good wine!
